Children’s Athletics
Building strength, friendships, and a love of movement — one stride at a time
Run/Jump/Throw
Run Jump Throw is a fun and active athletics programme designed to help children develop coordination, balance, and confidence through running, jumping, and throwing activities. It’s all about learning new skills, building fitness, and having a great time with friends.
Sessions are held every 4.00pm Tuesday afternoon during Term 4 and Term 1 (the summer track and field season) on the Fiordland College Grounds.
There’s no cost to take part, but we do ask that parents lend a hand from time to time to keep things running smoothly.
Come along and join the fun!
At the Fiordland Athletics club, we run Get Set Go, a fun and engaging programme for kids aged 3–5 years. It’s designed to help children enjoy being active through play and sport while developing their fundamental movement skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Through Get Set Go, kids build skills that make participating in games and sport more fun and successful, including physical movement skills, Knowledge and cognitive skills and emotional and social skills.
Sessions run at Fiordland College at 3:30 pm on Tuesdays during Term 1 and Term 4. There’s no cost to take part, but we do ask that parents lend a hand from time to time to keep things running smoothly.
We’d love to see your children join the fun and get moving!
